Learning objectives:The students learn:
  • Construction and planning of autonomous robot systems
  • Control and monitoring of autonomous robot system
  • Evaluation and processing of sensor data, e.g. using filter techniques and Data Fusion
  • Navigation in known and unknown environments
  • Interaction of several autonomous systems
Content:
  • Introduction to the structure and function of autonomous robot systems (e.g. cars / rovers, multicopters), as well as their control electronics.
  • Sensor technology & processing of sensor data
  • State Estimation & System Control
  • Visual Motion Estimation & Structure from Motion
  • RANSAC, SLAM, ICP (generic term)
