Learning objectives:The students get to know the structure and functionality of robot simulation systems. They are able to use such systems appropriately, integrate them in working environments, modify existing systems and develop them further to the given needs.
Content:Processes and concepts, methodical and practical knowledge for the design, implementation and use of robot simulation systems are conveyed:
  • Structure of robot systems
  • Modeling the robot work cell
  • Modeling the control
  • Programming in robot simulation systems
  • Calibration
  • Collision detection
  • Outlook for collision-free motion planning
